    eBay-Acellerator Toolkit for PHP –Shopping API Edition



    We are happy to announce the release of a new PHP SDK for eBay's Shopping API under the LGPL!

    Good news fpr users of the legacy EbatNS for the Trading API: The shopping edition works exactly the way you are used from the legacy EbatNS, which is now called trading edition. Furthermore, both can be combined in the same application; see the "ShoppingAPI ProgrammersGuide" (in the download area) for details.

    Please note that this release fixes two issues, for which you may have built your own work-arounds, in which case you'll want to verify that your application still works as expected:

    • Values of request parameters that evaluate to false in a boolean context are now included in the serialization by default. The Complex- and SimpleType's serialize() method now has a parameter called "preserveNull" that triggers this behaviour.
    • In XML generation, all Types besides dateTime, boolean, int and all *CodeTypes are wrapped as CDATA now, so that e.g. '&' in values doesn't need to be encoded as an entity any more.

    We hope these changes will make your life with the EbatNS more comfortable.
