Profile page and yellow pages for
Germany’s No. 1 among the

Objective
As part of a relaunch, the client planned to redesign the profile page for service providers, and to create a type of yellow pages offering.
Features
Suppliers can enter their basic data in an extensive profile via the AJAX-supported frontend. The profile includes criteria like professional references, certification, accreditation, offers for traineeships and more. Data input is facilitated by way of a graphic widget. The resulting final page is visible during editing directly in the profile page in accordance with the WYSIWYG principle. An image gallery allows the user to add several images. The location of the provider is pinpointed in GoogleMaps
Technology
The frontend was designed and implemented on AJAX basis. Data transfer to the backend occurs via various interfaces, which were provided by the client and went through InTradeSys client-side adjustments. The final profile is compiled from the data input by the service provider plus additional information, like provider ratings. As a last step, the GoogleMaps API is integrated to allow the visualisation of the individual locations based on the address details provided.
